Subject: How much faster is Apache serving HTML
Posted By: angrycat Post Date: 8/22/2004 3:58:42 PM
Hello,

I have read that APACHE is better than TOMCAT for serving static content, i.e. HTML. As I am currently running TOMCAT standalone I am interested to know HOW MUCH BETTER is APACHE.

Could anyone quantify this for me??

Thanks

You just search thru Google many more : "APACHE is better than TOMCAT"

http://jakarta.apache.org/tomcat/faq/connectors.html
you have the answer for "Why should I integrate Apache with Tomcat? (or not) " also many more.
