Iam learning how to develop sql reports using 'Pofessional SQL Server Reporting Services' manual. Iam in chapter 4 page 106 thru 112 do exercise on cascading parameters. I have followed the steps (twice to make sure I was doing it correctly) but I do not display the database data on the report as shown in fig 4-21 on page 112.
I made sure the sql statments using the data tab and I executed the sql statements in the data tab. I do receive the data from the database when I execute the sql statements.
My sql server is NOT a local server.
The employee list exercise works as described.
What am I doing wrong?
