I cannot get Themes (Chapter 7) to work no matter what I tweak!
Any ideas?

What error messages do you get?

No error messages.
Whatever theme I select the result is visually the same as if I select no theme at all, no changes in appearance from the default.
But, if I enter an invalid theme name, like XYZ, then I do get an error message.

Before I bought the book I followed the CodeGuru article [1] and created everything myself. Try it that way.
