Tabstrip control

I am trying to use the tabstrip control in my pages. I download the source code for the microsoft.web.ui.webcontrols, then I built it as they indicated. I created a reference in my project, customized my toolbar, etc. Everything goes fine.
Then I added the control to a page and although I don't get any errors, when I view the page I just see the text for the tabs of the control, but no formatting ever happens.
Can anybody help?
