Hi everybosy I really need help.
tomcat is a web conatiner. pluto is a portlet container. jetspeed is a portal
Pluto uses a web container to work and a portal uses a portlet container to work too.
Now what is the difference between jetspeed1 and jetspeed2?
i know that J2 is JSR168 compliant but have we to plug pluto to it or it's already included? is jetspeed1 JSR168 compliant if not can we plug it to pluto? and if we use jetspeed1 or jetspeed2 do we need to have a plug in with tomcat or not?
Thank you and sorry for my questions.

Sorry Mate? - did you ever get a response to your question - i have the exact same question? - do i need PLUTO to use JETSPEED2? - or can i build portlets via J2 alone with a servlet 2.3 container like Tomcat 5.5.9?

hai Friends,
Jetspeed 2 is just like pluto............
u can create portlets in jetspeed 2 itself.
if u download jetspeed 2 install version it will automatically build everything for us.
