Hi there,
I've compiled and made MDE (but still kept MDB of course).
the problem i have now occurs in two places. I'm using Access 2003 and when I open the database (mde) it gives warning "the file may not be safe, if it contains code that is intended to harm your computer...."
i know it doesn't contain any malicious code however i don't want this warning to pop up each time that the database is opened.
the second problem is also related to security. I have a followHyperlink command, and before access follows the hyperlink it asks if i want to continue, stating that the hyperlink may be harmful to computer etc. etc.
well I know that i DO want to follow the hyperlink, and so i want this message to be removed aswell..
I already have error handlers in place that are necessary, so i don't want to remove them in order to "skip-over" the security error, however I'm not even sure that the error handler will capture the security warning, because when the error occurs, the security warning message is displayed in conjunction.
someone please help with this.
