Hi, I posted this under "New Topics" (because I wasn't being observant.. my apologies!) and I thought that I should transpose this question to here. I just bought the book "Beginning AppleScript" and downloaded the source code from this site. Having never programmed before, I don't have a clue as to where I am supposed to store this source code on my computer. Perhaps it doesn't matter with the AppleScript source code? Thank you!
Do you want to be better or do you want to be good?

Obviously, the question was posted some time ago. But just in case anyone else comes along with a similar question, the answer is that you can pretty much put it anywhere. Many people put it in the Documents folder of their home folder.
But something else to keep in mind. You can put compiled scripts in the Scripts folder inside the Library folder if you have written one that you will use all the time. then just turn on the Script menu and it is always available.
