Subject: Development Environment for Access 2003
Posted By: Loralee Post Date: 1/20/2006 11:30:36 AM
I'm considering moving from A2K (ODE) to Access 2003, and have heard that part of the development environment/tools are now bundled in Visual Studio and not Office.  I am responsible for 2 applications currently in A2k at work, so I need to be able to maintain them.

1) What license/package do I want for Access 2003 so I can still add-in and use extra ActiveX controls?
2) Runtime?
3)If I need Visual Studio, do I need the WHOLE thing, or only components of it and if there are licensing/package levels for VS, which is the minimum level I need?

Thank you,

Loralee
