Subject: changed domain pwd, SQL server won't start
Posted By: buenaonda Post Date: 2/21/2006 3:03:12 PM

Hello everyone,

I was forced to change my network password (domain login) and now my SQL Server won't start. I went to the services, looked up SQLServer and changed the password in - services (MSSQLServer) - properties - Log On - This Account - <domain>\username and I updated the password... applied changes.

What is wrong here?? Obviously I'm not a DBA.. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

Look in the System Event Log to see what the specific error is.
