Is there a way to compare 2 files in Dreamweaver so that it highlights the differences?

thanks

What version of Dreamweaver are you using?

Version 8 has support for diffiing files; although you need a third party dif-tool for the actual compare operation...

You can download WinDiff for this. It comes as part of the Windows SDK (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=A55B6B43-E24F-4EA3-A93E-40C0EC4F68E5&displaylang=en) which may be a bit too large to download. If you search Google for Windiff, you'll find some other download locations for just WinDiff as well.
