Hi all
I was working on a project and my laptop died, rebooted then tried to go back into the project I was working on. VS2003 brings up the last files I had open then hangs. Task manager shows 99% utilisation for devenv.exe. Further reboots, reinstalls of both vs, virtual folders and iis make no difference. I am now completely locked out of the project although all other projects work fine.
Found some posts on google but nothing conclusive.
Any clues please?

Try deleting the bin directory.

Hi
Thanks for the suggestion but no the project will still not load. Devenv.exe goes 99% cpu usage and stays there.
Any more thoughts please?

The plot thickens
I opened the proj file which worked. I then built which asked me to save the solution file. Came out of vs and opened the solution file. The solution nows opens, however I can't open one ascx which I think was the one I was working at the time my laptop died. Same problem with the 99%
Can't see anything wrong in notepad. Does vs do anything elsewhere that I need to look at?
