Do i have to download sample files?

Hello. Im new to ASP.NET 2.0 so i thought this book would be great to start learning it. Anyway since i have not got brodband yet, i can not download the sample files for this book ( 40 mb ). Are they needed or can i do everything anyway? I have read to page 45 i think, and there is says to open one of the sample webpages. Can i skip this part and still not miss anything?
Sorry by the way if my English is bad, since im from Sweden

Hi Roosweb,
I'm afraid that for the most part, downloading the files is recommended as while we tried to get all the samples to build on each other, it didn't work so well. It's much easier to follow the book with the downlaod than without it.
Maybe I can get some single chapter downloads up somewhere for you to download. Are you workign on C# or VB?

Hello again, sorry for the late answer. Im working with C# and im on the first chapter right now, i would be so very glad if you could fix a download with the sample files for that chapter.
