Subject: USB Memory Card Reader support on FC5

Hi Guys,

I am looking at purchasing a USB Memory Card reader to allow me to slot my Memory Card from my Nokia N70 straight into the USB MC reader and copy the files across.

One I have seen is:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170088439002&fromMakeTrack=true

Does anyone know if this, or any other USB MC Readers, are supported on FC5??

There are others on eBay, but would like to know if these will work the same as plugging in Pen Drive (or USB Key for the young members, no-one seems to call them Pen Drives anymore!!)

Any help appreciated.

Any device that acts as a "USB mass storage" device ought to work (does with Debian etch with stock kernel, anyhow).

cheers Chaz, I hoped it would appear as 'Removeable Storage' just like a Pen Drive. As I say i'm on Fedora, but I used a Debian distrobution at my work. (not sure which one!!)

do you have something like this yourself? the reason I am asking is because i am using a laptop and not a desktop with a built-in USB memory card reader.....
