Ch14 Calendar not working with Visual Studio

I am trying to implement the Calendar using visual studio with code behind classes. VS generates errors indicating that the default schema does not support the calendar.ASPX file supplied in the download.
Does anyone know how to conver the sample to work so I can implement with visual studio .net ?
