How to read/write Access Database

Hello :)
I'm new with Outlook programming and I'm trying to read from / write to an Access database (I don't know the properties of db.opendatabase, db.openrecordset, etc...)
Can anyone tell me how can I read values from a field in an Access
Table and how can I write new values into that Table?
(I'm using Outlook 2000, Access 2000 and Win 2000)
