Subject: Date time picker

HI,

I have a question.  I have this control, MS date and time picker on my computer. I want to use it on a MS Access form on a data base that everyone will be using. Some of the people who will be using the data base don't have the MScomct2.ocx file on their computer. Do you think they will still be able to use the form without a problem?  Do they all need a copy of the activeX control on their computers? Many Thanks,

-JC

They need a copy of the DLL on their computer. Do not use that control. It will give you too many head aches. Use a variation of the calndar control instead. There are ways to use it just as the date time picker. You may do a search on the forum for "calendar control". Someone asked a similar question about 2-3 weeks ago.

Thanks, It's as I expected. Access seems like it should have something like that built in to avoid lengthy work arounds.
oh well.
