Exported B5 report becomes A4 in Adobe Acrobat

I created my report in CR9 and set the papersize to B5 format. However, after exporting to .pdf and trying to print from it, it uses the default printer which is set to A4. Is there anyway that the client I'm printing from smartly knows which format the report is generated in and smartly uses the page size accordingly. My requirement is that I should not manually change the settings. It used to work with the ActiveX viewer (CR7) but now I've upgraded, it doesn't seem to work anymore. I've seen the thread at http://support.crystaldecisions.com/library/kbase/articles/c2013606.asp but I believe there's a workaround for this, perhaps using ActiveX. Please help!!
