How to configure IIS in Windows Vista Ultimate. What are the software applications needed or to be installed to work with IIS?Please guide me.

You don't need IIS to develop using Visual Studio as it comes with a built in web server.

Also, the installation or otherwise of IIS isn't really a .Net related issue, so doesn't belong in this forum

Also, please (PLEASE) do the simplest of google searches before asking simple question. A search for "IIS vista" gives perfectly adequate solutions to this simple problem. I would call you lazy, except registering on this forum and then writing a 100 word question, and then having to wait around for a response is far more work than just doing a 2 word search yourself and getting the answer instantly.
