i am having the same problem themesSelector is defined in globals but in the basepage class. basepage inherits system.web.ui.page and imports system.web, microsoft.visualbasic

I solved my problem basically make sure the web.config file is correct i copied the config file from the chapter by chapter for chapter 2(i copied chapter 3's and had to remove the health section) this was just to test but it worked. now i just have to add the ajax elements to my web.config file
