reg conn to sql server 2005 from vb.net 2005..

Error while running webparts demo:
An error has occurred while establishing a connection to the server. When connecting to SQL Server 2005, this failure may be caused by the fact that under the default settings SQL Server does not allow remote connections. (provider: SQL Network Interfaces, error: 26 - Error Locating Server/Instance Specified)
 I enabled the Remote conn by going to surface conn in sql server...Then for starting the database engine..I restarted the sql server in control panel..and restarted system...still
 the same error.....pl help asap

I restarted sql server browser and also restarted the computer also...still the same error 26...
