Design-Time Debugging of ASP.NET Custom Controls

Hi Guys,
Having a problem here, I have created a custom container control, with the intention to use it to render a "fancy" border about its content. I have started generating the rendering code and all is starting to come together nicely at run-time, however, at design-time, I cant seem to get anything to show up..
So I began looking to see if there is a way to debug the GetDesignTimeHtml method within the controls [custom] designer, I came across this on the p2p forums http://p2p.wrox.com/topic.asp?whichpage=1& TOPIC_ID=20858#50046 but that does not seem to work for me 
Can anyone offer perhaps any pointers where I may be going wrong?
