Subject: Notepad or VS,Net

Hi

I have VS.net set up on my system.  The only trouble is I am learning asp.net from wrox.  They tell me to do it in Notepad.  This is working fine.  But I would like to use VS.net as I am looking at going for my MCSD.Net shortly and would like to get ahead start.  Please tell me if it is worth me doing my asp in VS.  Or if I do it in notepad would I still be able to pass my ASP.Net exam or do you need knowledge of VS.Net to pass the exam

Thank you

Ali B

I don't know the details of the exam, but I would imagine that the exam doesn't cover details about using VS.net unless it's a VS.net exam.

Ask yourself this...
If you had to move a barge, you could use a tug boat, or you could just tie a rope around your waist and pull it by swimming.  Swimming would move it...eventually, but wouldn't you rather use a tugboat?

Buddy you seem to have a way with words.  Thanks very much and I will start using the VS.
