Install problem Redhad Linux 9

Hi,
I just bought a book called "Beginning Redhat Linux 9".
I installed the software that came with the book.
Computer: Pentium II 233 64MB ram.
Upon first reboot, computer crashes. I don't know if it has
anything to do with video card/monitor or not.
Can anybody help me out?
