Exclamation help!

Thanks Doug. But it's links not help. I check all Google, dozen of warez portals - and nothing. Maybe somebody have this files and can send to me on e-mail or upload to rapidshare or some files hosting? I'll be very grateful.

Default You didn't try very hard...

Look in the TOP RIGHT CORNER of *ANY* PAGE in these forums.

See where it says:
NEED TO DOWNLOAD CODE
View our list of code downloads

????

Okay, try CLICKING on that link.

That will take you to a page that says
Browse Titles for Code Downloads (511)

And you could just keep click on the next page, next page, next page until you get to your title.

But an easier way is to type the title into the SEARCH box, labeled Search titles for:

Type in "Professional Active Server Pages 3.0" and hit the GO button.

PRESTO! You get to a description of the book AND on that same page, there is a link that says Download Code

Now try clicking on *THAT* link.

PRESTO! All the code!!!

Incidentally, on the page that describes the book and has the direct download link, there is another link labelled "Errata". You might want to go there, too, to find errors that have been found in the books since it was published...9 years ago!

I know what transgenic fast food such a chips, hamburgers and etc. In general - all what you like devour in incredible number be able problems with eyes and head. Turn your attention on this My Dear Old Pedant :)

I try to do this few times. The Result was identical like this:

in Books returned: 1 results Looking for results in blogs and forums?
Search for Professional Active Server Pages 3.0; in p2p Community.

Beginning Active Server Pages 3.0 by David Buser, John Kauffman, Juan T. Llibre, Brian Francis, Dave Sussman, Chris Ullman, Jon Duckett July 2000,

Download Code | Errata
Beginning Active Server Pages 3.0 and Professional Active Server Pages 3.0 is two perfect but different books. Beginning Active Server Pages 3.0 has Download Code, and online version http://asp3wiki.wrox.com/wiki.

But about Professional Active Server Pages 3.0 Wrox.com know nothing. Wrox, it’s your book? If yes – please provide files for book.

Ok, before this erupts in to some ill mannered bickering lets just calm down.

Per Amazon the book in question was published 10 Years ago and the Publisher was Peer Information. (I am not sure if this was a moniker for APress or not) In any event, the code for this book does not exist on P2P so it is reasonable to assume that Wiley did not secure the rights to this book nor the code.

Sorry alex it seems that this is a dead end for you you might want to try snooping around and see if the old publisher still has a website and if they have the code posted somewhere.

I'll update my FAQ on this. Unfortunately, this is what I found on the APress site:
"The source code downloads that accompany books published by Wrox are no longer supported on this site. We apologize for any inconvenience."

And unfortunately, there's nothing I or anyone now at Wrox can do about this or to force APress to provide source code for these older books.

For anyone who wants this 6 year history lesson again, the story goes:
Peer is the company who founded Wrox.
In 2003 Peer went into receivership and was liquidated.
Wiley purchased the Wrox name and many of the top selling current books like ASP.NET 1.0, C#, VB.NET, etc.
Most of the older topics (like most of the ASP 3 books with the exception of Beginning Active Server Pages 3.0) were purchased by Apress who was allowed to continue to sell the inventory they bought with the Wrox name on them. We were not allowed to distribute the code for the books they bought.

I'll see if I can find any of the authors for that book though even though it's not "ours" and see if any of them have a link to the code download.

Default Sincere apology to alexbff

My face is very very RED !!!

I am SO sorry!

I honestly didn't notice that the search returned the WRONG BOOK!

I really thought this was just a problem in language (that is, non-native English speaker).

I hereby promise to (a) look more carefully in the future and (b) help answer any questions about the code if they occur. (I do have the book, but I admit to not having looked at it in years.)
