I would like to update a table's field in Access 97. I have a Project
name reference table, and I would like to update its name field by
removing any unwanted single quotes. I need to set it up in Access for
the person who maintains it. Is it possible to do it in a query? I can go
to edit-replace to do it, but is there a better way in a query? Thanks.

Why remove single quotes ? If they are there - then they are there for a
purpose.
Look at my answer to the mail "Unable update table with single quot record
( ' ) " - I think you have the same problem.
