access thread: Loading info. from Database to Flash Vehicle..

Message #1 by "Catherine McMahon" <catherine.mcmahon@b...> on Mon, 2 Apr 2001 16:06:59
This is a very easy problem but since I haven't got a clue how to use ASP, I would

just like to get straight to the point.

Scenario:

A Flash Vehicle in a HTML page has the ability to load information using a

'Load Variables' action from Microsoft Access using ASP. I have the information in an

embedded OLE object (text document) on the Access Database and would like the ASP to

basically ask for that certain information from the table of the Database. This, I am

sure is pretty easy. If anyone knows about Flash and ASP integration or knows how to

ask a database for specific information, I would appreciate some examples or some

links showing examples of this kind.

I would be very very grateful is someone could help me. :<) (desperate situation)

Thank you.
