Does anyone know how to set up a composite key. Access only allows me to
have one per table.
Thanks

Hilite two or more fields you want to be the key at the same time. Click
the key button. This creates a composite primary key.
To create a mulitple field index, open the table window in design view and
open the Indexes window by clicking the Indexes button on the toolbar or
by choosing Indexes from the View menu. Move the cursor to an empty row in
the Indexes window and type a unique name. Select a field name. go down to
the next row and select another field without typing a new index name.
When done, you'll have a composite index. Please look up "Multiple field
indexes", page 155, Chapter 5 in "Running Microsoft Access 2000",
Microsoft Press, by John Viescas for more information. Carol :-)
