I have a test database in Access 97 on a client's machine. When error
messages come up they are in German rather than English. How can I get the
messages to come up in English.
Regards
Brendan

Hi
Check the regional settings (in control panel) of their PC. I had someone
whose dates were Italian because the PC settings were wrong.
Hope this helps

No - settings are all English. Client unsuccessfully loaded a German price
list and the trouble has started from there. There is no uninstalled
procedure for the German Price list and I fell that the answer may be
hidden somewhere in the depths of the Registry.

Hi Brendan,
You may want to try the following
Find the file Msjint35.dll and rename it.
Copy Msjint35.dll from the English version of the Microsoft Office 97 CD
to the folder where you found the original Msjint35.dll
There is more information on MS Support site
q298179.
Good Luck
