access thread: Linked ODBC table allows add but denies edit
I have a MS Access 97 database that I am moving onto my SQL 2000 Server. I have copied the tables up to SQL and ensured that they have primary keys. I created a linked table in Access that shows the records in the SQL Server table. I can add new records but I can't edit existing records. What have I missed? The connection string login has been given full rights using SQL Enterprise Manager. Please clue me in. TIA 8^) Darron
i think it is something to do with the priviliges when you create the table on the server. ie allow Updates
