Ive created a type of telephone directory, but it looks awful as the form
shows every available field.
How do I create a nice front to my database so the user can type desired
search, press a control button then this opens another window showing the
selected criteria. Am new to access so any help would be appreciated.

That would be an awful lot to put in an e-mail!
My advice would be to start with the help topic "ways to customize a form"
and branch out from there.
Cheers,

Stephen,
How does the user select the type of search?
