Hello,



I have this very frustrating problem, and have no idea what is causing 

it.  Basically, I have an access macro that links two tables to an excel 

spreadsheet.  I get the same problem even if I do it manually.  What 

happens that a number of fields aren't linked to the proper field 

heading.  For example under a phone number field will appear text that 

should be in some other random field.  I have converted the database to 

Access 2000, and I don't get this problem.  I may have to upgrade in the 

future, but at the present time I would like to correct this problem with 

my current version.  Also, I've tried to do a import using Access and I 

get the same problem.



The problem I'm having seems to only occur when the Excel file size gets 

very large, as is the case with the details shown below.



I tried searching MSDN Help online, and have found no matches to my 

problem.

          Excel 97

          Win NT 4

          Access Database size: 7,038kb

          Excel Spreadsheet size: 13,200kb
