Hi,
Since there was not 'Microsoft Works Database' group, I am sending this to the Access group, since I believe it to be the closest
match. Here's my situation. Since I no longer have Access on my new computer, I now have only "Microsoft Works Database" to work
with. I would like to use this to set up a database on my website so that I can deliver the results dynamically over the web. I
haven't started the project yet, and know that I need an ODBC driver for the particular database software. My quesiton is, does
this driver exist? Does 'Microsoft Works' have this capability? I've been on the Microsoft site, and can not find this information
anywhere. I am afraid that Microsoft Works has scaled down Access so that it can not be as functional as Access was. Any
comments will be appreciated. Thanks!
Kathy

Hi Kathy.
I had a quick search and also found nothing. I haven't used works for a
while but what options does it have for exporting the database? Are there
any?. Just thought that you might be able to export to another format, and
go from there?
Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
Cheers,
Andrew

Kathy,
You are absolutely right, Works is not nearly as functional as Access.
In order to at least get the data over to Works you are going to have to
find a computer with Access on it. Export the tables (individually) as
delimited files (I would use .csv). Works can import delimited files.
Its a pain but I think the only solution.
