hi

i have this access database situated in one of the network drives, 
basically it has tables which are linked to another database (oracle) by 
odbc.

everything went fine except when i compact the database..the system 
halted. upon rebooting the pc, i found that the database no longer exists 
in the network drive.

wonder anyone met this experience before???
appreciate any advice which can prevent the incident from happening again.
