Hi, You guys are my last hope to get this to work. I
cannot get my Access XP runtime to work properly on
win98. It doens'nt seem to like a module of code written
by Ken Getz for locating files (win32api call). It works
on Windows XP. I'm getting disillusioned, what is the
point of having access runtime if I cant use it? I'm
certainly not going to install the full office products
on the networked PC's just to get it to work. Can anyone
help me?
P.S. The first few errors I recieved were dll errors but they are sorted
out, its just I get a "run-time error this program will onw shut down"
message now when I click the button to make the win32 API call.
Thx

Are you compiling your database? Are you using the Package & Deployment
wizard to produce an installation package? It may be that the Win98
machine doesn't have a file your database is expecting.
