access thread: Exporting to Excel

Message #1 by "Enzo" <enzaux@g...> on Fri, 17 May 2002 13:41:20 +0800
Why is it that when I try to export my tables in excel, the cells are formatted in a very unbalance width and height? Is there
anyway I can prevent this from happening?

Thanks,

Enzo :)

Are you talking about the Excel Wrapping feature? You can turn if off by
selecting the cells and going to Format - Cells - Alignment Tab and under
the text control section deselect the Wrap Text tick box.

RE: [access] Exporting to ExcelNope, what I need to know is how can I avoid
a very ugly looking excel file when my tables are exported to excel.
Because on my experience, when I try to export my tables to excel what I
have in result is varying widths and heights of cells in excel which is not
very pleasing to look at :(. What I want to happen is that the cell of the
excel will stay as it is while the data is being exported. Just like in a
manual copy and paste procedure.

Thanks for the info regarding text wrapping.

Thanks,

Enzo
