access thread: connection to ODBC server

Hi, can anyone advise me.
I am running an access database which has a couple of ODBC linked tables.
The oracle database which houses the table has recently changed its
server. I have changed the name of the server in the 'Microsoft ODBC
Administrator' on the control panel but the moment I try and open one of
the linked tables it tries to go to the old server. I assume that access
has cached the old server name somewhere but I can't find where to change
it.
Any ideas?
Liz

Just import the tables again.

You will have to run the Linked Table Manager to re-configure the link
to
the new connection.

The easiest way is to go to Tools -> Database Utilities -> Linked Table
Manager.(this is W2K and XP(I think), Access 97 has this in a different
area).
Select the tables you need to update. MAKE SURE THE 'Always Prompt for New
Location' box is checked and click OK. When the datasources come up choose
the new one and do the update. This should correct the problem.
Hope this helps,
Amy

Unlink your table and re-link it.

Did the "listener" identity change? This is a layer of the connection
with Oracle, but I can't say anything more intelligent about than
that. I think you may have to relink the tables, possibly with a new
name.
