I have never seen this appear before so I am not sure what you may have
happeing. Perhaps a little more information would help like; Is this
appearing on a form, table or report?, Are you adding via code or directly
to a forms fields?, What kind of database are we dealing with here?
Beyond that you may try a form Requery instead of a refresh if this is
happening on a form and see if that helps.
