We would like to find a way to determine what a user's access rights are to 
a file, then limit their actions with the Access application based on those 
rights.  For example, if a user has read only rights, we would limit them 
to inquiry mode only in the application.

Our LAN is Novell but there are several NT volumes accessed by all users.  
Workstation operating systems are Windows 95b, 98 and 2000 Professonal.
