Hi Guys,
I'm just wondering what is the VERY BEST approach or setup to have the maximum power of MsAccess as your front-end application.
For Example:
-Use SQL as your back-end. etc...
-Connect your table using ODBC instead of link using Upsizing Wizard.
Any suggestion is highly appreciated.
Cheers,
George

Depends on the environment.
As a rule-of-thumb, in a multi-user environment then the best performance
will be gained by using Access Projects. (SQL Server back-end, compiled .ade
files as front-ends distributed to user workstations)
There are many variables though. You'd need to give more details: Number of
Users / Hardware & Software capabilities / Network Structure & Traffic /
Back-End possibilities / Type of Application etc etc.
Cheers,
Andrew
