access thread: DAO, ADO... D'oh!
In various places I've read about DAO vs. ADO, they say that ADO is better
and more efficient, but you wouldn't know that from the Access XP help
files. Their ADO examples are very unclear and many times I just throw up
my hands and just stick with the DAO (making sure to activate the correct
reference libaries) because it seems easier to me.
Are there any books I can read or web sites I can visit that have good
examples of common tasks programmed in both DAO and ADO for comparison?
