I have observed recently that whenever I am working in the code window my
cursor is jumping backwards and not staying in position when I press the
tab key.
I am in the properties window and trying to set the default value for a
control. I type =Date() and the moment I type the last character the
cursor jumps backwards and keeps deleting what I typed.
I am typing the word Value and when I type Val the cursor jumps back
between the V and the l and I end up with end up with Vauel. On other
occasion when I type a word and press the space bar the jumps back
deleting the space and I end up with two words with no space between them.
This is not a problem with the keyboard because it is happening with
several computers even one brand new being used for the first time. This
does not seem to happen with Word or Excel.
Has any one come across a problem like this and can advise me?
Does this only happen in Access? Could it be a hardware problem or a virus.
I have never seen this in Access.
