Hi everyone,

I ran into a problem recently and I am questioning if creating an Access 
Workgroup File was possibly at fault.  I was working with an Access 2000 
database, which was users had to login to.  I tried creating an asp script 
to access the database via the web.  However, I received an error stating 
a message about permission rights.  I was told to create a workgroup file 
and and the account to the workgroup.  I did this and the script ran 
fine.  Then after about 2 weeks, the database started acting strange.  
Users couldn't login, records couldn't be added, etc...Did creating the 
Access Workgroup cause this? And if so, can I delete the workgroup file 
without it effecting the database?
