access thread: Question yes no field

Message #1 by SMICHELL2@a... on Tue, 24 Sep 2002 12:19:05 EDT
Rather simple I know but......

I have a table with a Yes No field formatted for a tick / no tick
I run a make table query - including the Yes No field and the new table has
the format minus 1
No problem to me - but a user may be flummoxed
I can overcome the problem by changing the field to number format and back to
Yes No and the table now shows ticks / no ticks

Can someone tell me how to keep tick / no tick when I Query make table?

Go into table design, select the Yes/No field and select the look-up tab
below - you should select Check Box from the three options listed.
