Message #1 by <coon@c...> on Tue, 29 Oct 2002 07:49:35 +0100
Hello all,

I have following problem. I got database which I don't wan't to
change. There are some macros which runs queries, expors data... The
problem is as follows:
Running this queries takes a long time and consumes lot of system
resources. I need this data every monday morning when I come to work
and I can't use any farm. So I will use AT command to run at specific
time... but there is a problem with database login in:

Is it possible to set up Microsoft ODBC for oracle driver to keep
information about password?

Thank you for your help and ideas.

Regards, Petr

Yes it is. Are you using DAO or ADODB to connect to the Oracle database?

How can I determine it? These tables are linked into this file and
the queries run on them. There is no VBA code. Only Tables, queries
and macros...
(I use Access 2000)
