First of all Tony, you cannot edit modules in mde files. Saving a
database as an MDE file compiles all modules, removes all editable
source code, and compacts the destination database. The Visual Basic
code continues to run, but it cannot be viewed or edited.
Secondly if you the database belongs to your company and you lost a
password to the database you can use number tools on the market to
decrypt the password. Try link below as a starting point.
http://www.passwordrecoverytools.com/index.html
http://www.alpinesnow.com/
I can also decrypt any Access database but I'll probably charge you more
then cost of the password recovery tool.

Hi Tony,
You can send me the database if you want to (back-end and front-end if
not a single database) and I'll see if I can decrypt the password. If I
decrypt it I'll let you know how much I want for decrypting it
(depending on the time it takes) and you can say OK or no way.
