Signed StationeryI have 2 linked databases, code in one, tables in other. I
have written a
code procedure in the code database to compact the tables database.
If I open the code database and run the compact procedure it works.
If I open the code database, update a table and then run the compact
procedure it fails telling me that another user has the database open
exclusively. The other user it is referring to is my code database.
How do I open attached tables non-exclusively?
Alternatively how do I say I have finished updating the tables and no longer
require exclusive access?
