could anyone help me how to hide a ms access splash screen whenever you 
open your switchboard?

Try a macro.

OPEN FORM  >SPLASH SCREEN
OPEN FORM  >SWITCHBOARD
CLOSE FORM >SPLASH SCREEN

thank you Terry for your reply. But actually it's not what i want.

For your information, I already set up my switchboard in the Startup 
Properties in Database Window. So....when you open the database, 
my switchboard will appear after the Ms Access Window. i do not want that 
screen...

	On the same folder where your dbase resides create a bmp file and name it the same with your dhase
name.  This will display the bmp file instead of the default splash screen.
