I am a Web Designer at the Department of Labor, and I am trying to create
a form that the clerical staff or the general public could fill out with
input fields like names, address, zip, phone etc. I have no problem
creating the form and I have no problems creating a response (asp) page,
telling the person inputting the data that the data as been submitted.
But I don't have a clue on how to view the page with the data that the
public or staff inputted. Basically, this would be a mailing list were
the user can fill out the form and click the submit button, and I on the
other hand can produce or bring up a page in a Access Data Base or HTML
page or both, that will show me the results of what the user inputted.
We do have the asp extensions on our IIS Server. We have a lot of
programmers that creates ASP Pages, but are not willing to share
information. I recently just got certified to be a Web Publisher and that
was a great achievement, but the class only taught basic ASP classes. The
only thing that was given to us that was really useful was the Beginning
Active Server Pages 3.0 book. Please help.
Thanks.

HI
Go to the following website: www.brainjar.com
He has a super example. To see the result go to
www.kwictel.co.za and go to the subscribe now or contact us form and fill
some things in. Just type in the fields testing, bla-bla and I'll notify
our support team. On the end you can see how it gives you a summary in html
format giving all details that's been send in. The e-mail fields is a
validated field so use aa@a... or something like that.
