I have tried to utilize code (both from here and on other sites) to 
compact an 
Access 2000 DB using the msjro.dll file, but the page with the code 
always hangs and freezes the server.

I have two basic questions:

(1) Do I need to include the msjro.dll file and can I do it on the same 
page such as: <!-- METADATA TYPE='typelib' FILE="C:\Program Files\Common 
Files\System\ado\msjro.dll" -->

(2) Will the "Compact on Close" option found within Access (Tools, 
Options, General Tab) work on a server if Access is not installed?  If it 
is?

Any other suggestions?
