access_asp thread: Extracting ASP Result Sets to an Excel Spreadsheet

Message #1 by "Young, Ashley" <Ashley.Young@c...> on Thu, 14 Nov 2002 11:08:36 -0500
Hi. I have a question. I'm trying to get the results of an ASP query to open
in an Excel spreadsheet. Can this be done? If so, could someone tell me the
easiest way to do it? ;)

Thanks in advance,

--Ashley

Can you please rephrase what you want to do?

What is an "ASP Query"?
How do you "open" a "query" in "Excel"?

Do you mean that you have the results of a database query in an ADO
recordset and you'd like to save that to an Excel spreadsheet? (that's very
different to what you're asking, but I'm kinda clutching at straws trying to
work out what you want to do...)

Cheers
Ken

That is what I wanted to do, but it's moot now. I found the answers I was
looking for.

Thanks anyway,
